The Internet of Things (IoT) has increased quality of life for many. However, it has also enticed cybercriminals to commit fraud in new and novel ways. This presentation will focus on strategies implemented in the early stages of the investigation of IoT crimes. The first approach will be to consider the classification of the crime, the methods of collecting evidence and all relevant laws and regulations.
