William Newhouse

Cybersecurity Engineer, US Gov't Dept of Commerce, NIST, NICE, NCCoE

Bill Newhouse is the Deputy Director of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) and Security Engineer at the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE). Both NICE and the NCCoE are part of the Applied Cybersecurity division in the Information Technology Laboratory at NIST. At the NCCoE, Newhouse leads the development of practice guides that address cybersecurity challenges that affect areas of risk in the retail, hospitality and federal sectors. Newhouse is a graduate of both the Georgia Institute of Technology and George Washington University and has been with the federal government for over 32 years.
