Michael T. McCaul is in his seventh term in the US House of Representatives. As Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee and an original Co-Chair of the Cybersecurity Caucus, McCaul is a congressional cybersecurity leader. He co-authored the Cybersecurity Act of 2015 and sponsored key legislation to secure federal networks and improve the federal cyber-workforce. McCaul’s guiding priority is defending our homeland from all threats—foreign, domestic and digital. Prior to Congress, McCaul served as Chief of Counter-Terrorism and National Security in the US Attorney’s office, Western District of Texas, and led the Joint Terrorism Task Force.
