Terry McAuliffe is the 72nd Governor of Virginia. McAuliffe’s top priority is building a new Virginia economy. Home to 650 cybersecurity companies, Virginia has become a leader in the cyber-sector during his administration. The Governor serves as Chairman of the National Governors Association, using that position to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of its membership. His Chair’s Initiative, Meet the Threat: States Confront the Cyber Challenge, helps states identify their vulnerabilities and develop strategies to address them. To ensure Virginia remains competitive, he is implementing major initiatives to attract job creators in cybersecurity, bioscience, data analytics and advanced manufacturing. As a result, he is bringing more than $14 billion in capital investment to Virginia.
