As an early pioneer in the cyber-investigations field in the mid-1990s he founded the first commercial computer forensic / cyber-investigation labs in Los Angeles, Chicago and Hong Kong. Laykin has assisted hundreds of clients with complex electronic discovery, computer forensics, cybercrime, trade secret theft, corporate espionage, systems failures and other challenging information technology disputes. He is Chair of the American Bar Association’s Computer Forensic Expert Witness and IoT Digital Evidence subcommittees and Past President of the FBI’s Infragard Program.
