However, such digital technologies are also increasingly being exploited by cybercriminals and nefarious actors to launch coordinated and transnational cyberattacks and cybercrimes, resulting in significant losses to countries and economies. In this opening keynote, Mr Amrin Amin spoke about the importance of regional and international cooperation, and the role of the government and community in combating cybercrimes and threats.

Founder/Chief Executive Officer, Bits N' Bytes Cybersecurity EducationKyla Guru shared her experience of being a social entrepreneur in the cybersecurity industry, the challenges she has faced and what she believes should be the greater mission of all cybersecurity initiatives. Guru used her unique perspective of going through the education system to talk about what she sees for the future of the industry, and, of course, how we can make radical change to our current state of cyber-insecurity.
